Ok, so I admit it - I've been a bad blogger lately.
In a spirit of rebellion {I mean "busyness"}, I haven't been conversing with you guys much.

As does this photo of Beyonce in black-face, my absence has caused a bit of a raised brow, I know. Well, I've repented, asked for forgiveness, and have now turned the corner. I'll be back soon {tomorrow?} with an exciting showing of "pretty".
Speaking of "pretty"... as explicitly expressed by Pretty Coveted, it is always our goal to showcase "pretty" in all it's fantastical beauty. {It's never to highlight what's negative, nor to demean, degrade, nor poke fun of.} Having said that, this pic of Beyonce is definitely artistic & creative, but pretty? Hmmm, not so sure *head tilted*... I've seen prettier of her, like when she featured as one of our Unconventional Muses.
I certainly do love me some Bey, but what do you think though? Specifically, what do you think of her posing in black-face? Artistic? Necessary? Offensive? Don't really care?...
Just curious...

I don't think it's offensive. She is a risk taker and I think that's all she was doing. I feel like some black people are more offended by things that aren't meant to be offensive.
