The Forge recently reopened in March after $10 million in renovations. Every chandeliered ceiling and sconced wall was designed to create a unique dining experience. The comfortable couches, cozy nooks and winged chairs, beacon guests to come in and soak up the great food, ambience and conversation. The furniture was custom-made and designed, including an Indonesian wood table as the centerpiece of one of the private dining rooms. We couldn't help trying to create a "rat pack" like scene (see photo below). Each room had a distinct design but the library setting with its shelves lined with books and reading tables stole my heart.
We were treated to the culinary delights by Chef Dewey LoSasso who did not disappoint. The Forge’s staff treated us to impeccable service which capped off the lovely afternoon.
I am looking forward to a return visit to experience the mixologist and the self-service wine program featuring over 80 bottles.
